Taxotere Lawsuit

Taxotere is a popular chemotherapy drug primarily used to treat breast cancer. It is also used to fight many other forms of cancer, including prostate, stomach, head & neck, and non-small cell lung cancer. One of the reasons Taxotere is so popular is because patients are typically administered the drug only once every three weeks, as opposed to the weekly treatments received with other chemotherapy agents.

Unfortunately, it seems this convenience may come at a heavy price. Taxotere has been linked to permanent hair loss (alopecia), especially in women who have used the drug for breast cancer treatment. The manufacturer of the drug, Sanofi, did not warn consumers of this side effect, claiming that hair would grow back after chemotherapy ended.
